  4. !MZX version 1.10 is the third release of the ARM Unlimited ZX Spectrum
  5. emulator, and replaces version 1.02. There are many improvements from the
  6. previous release, the main ones being:
  7.  
  8. * Single and multitasking modes combined, switchable at run-time.
  9.  
  10. * Improved WIMP front-end.
  11.  
  12. * .Z80 snapshot loading capability implemented.
  13.  
  14. * Emulation speed increased by up to 100% (application dependant). Emulation
  15.   at up to 100% of Spectrum speed is now possible even on an ARM2 machine.
  16.  
  17. * RISC OS 2 support removed; code modified to mostly run on a RiscPC 600.
  18.  
  19. * Limited sound support added.
  20.  
  21. * Instruction set revised, interrupt handling improved. MZX now runs an
  22.   estimated 95% of snapshots without problems.

  24. * Keyboard handling completely rewritten and extended.
  25.  
  26. * Single tasking runs in a custom mode.

  28. * Support for Acorn joystick and keyboard joystick emulation added.
